FEATURED PROJECTS
While small in scale, this kitchen extension packs a punch, where bold colours and clever detailing makes a statement.
Located in Bangalow, whitewood has been working with the owners to create a home that blends functionality and creativity.
With the kitchen as the undeniable centrepoint, the new space captures attention with splashes of colour, such as the teal-coloured features tiles that wrap around the benches and splashback. The tiling throughout the kitchen was executed with precision, allowing for an inset hob and a meticulous tile set-out.
Evolution Financial Planning is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, where the careful selection of materials and thoughtful design choices ensure the office meets the needs of its users while providing a welcoming and modern environment.
Our design concept maximises the functionality while creating a soft, inviting atmosphere–with a vision as being as far from a stuffy office vibe as possible. With a seamless integration of various textures and materials, the output blends refined joinery with an industrial aesthetic.
Summer House is a set of five townhouse residences located in the highly covetable heart of Byron Bay. Originally built in the 90s, the external structure provided a base shell for whitewood to undertake a comprehensive interior renovation.
The colour palette draws from sunset hues, featuring blush and earthy tones, alongside mellow greens to bring a sense of warmth. The design seamlessly blends city sophistication with coastal charm, utilising timbers in a crisp, contemporary style.
BOMI is an osteopathy clinic in Byron Bay that nourishes and revitalises from the first moment of walking through the door. Upon entry, a curving bench seat grounds the space with its rich, earthy red tiling facing a row of linen chairs from MCM House. In here, an oversized rice paper pendant light balances the high raked ceiling height of the foyer.
"A professional approach with a willingness to understand our vision and bring it to fruition made for a great experience.
We are so happy with the design of our office fit-out and would definitely recommend Julie and the team for those seeking a quality design for their building project.."
The main principle when creating a visual story for me is that each project is completely unique. A one style fits all approach isn't where we design from.
I like to start the visual story by uncovering the personality of the space through exploring colour, materiality and structure.
