Summer House is a set of five townhouse residences located in the highly covetable heart of Byron Bay. Originally built in the 90s, the external structure provided a base shell for whitewood to undertake a comprehensive interior renovation.
The colour palette draws from sunset hues, featuring blush and earthy tones, alongside mellow greens to bring a sense of warmth. The design seamlessly blends city sophistication with coastal charm, utilising timbers in a crisp, contemporary style.
Our material selection was carefully chosen to create a subtle elegance whilst also reflecting Byron’s coastal location and its casual lifestyle. The soft neutral tones and gentle textures in the materials combine to bring a calming and refined backdrop to sweeping vistas of the bay out front.

Lennox Pizza, a beloved staple in Lennox Head, has recently relocated to the heart of the main street in Lennox. The pizza shop, known for its surf and skate culture, has been a part of the community for 16 years and has now found a new home in a completely revamped space. The goal of the renovation was centred on creating a space for people to hang out, a notion that aligns with the core ethos of the local institution.
The attention to detail and use of authentic features ensures that the space will age well and continue to be a beloved institution in the community for years to come.
Byron Plantation is not just a house; it’s a forever home, meticulously designed and built to withstand the test of time. Its thoughtful floor plan, elegant finishes, and breathtaking views make it a haven where every element has a place and every detail has been carefully considered. ​The clients, a family of three who had relocated to Byron Bay from Sydney, sought to create a welcoming haven that would not only serve as their family home but also accommodate extended family and friends. Central to their vision was a desire to entertain, so ample space for social gatherings was a key consideration.

The main principle when creating a visual story for me is that each project is completely unique. A one style fits all approach isn't where we design from.
